We had the two day tour of Santorini including a one night stay on the island! Well worth the extra day for just a little more money. We toured Oia which os mesmerising and spent n hour of the first afternoon in Fira (the capital town). To be honest, there is so much to see and do in Fira that the hour really is not enough and this is where the 2 days is so much better value for money. We were able to come back for the full morning of the second day and really take time to relax over a drink in a cafe hanging over the side of the cliffs in front of the “Caldera” and laze about in the narrow street enjoying the many shops and beautiful blue topped churches. That was a treat we could not have enjoyed with just the one day tour.
The summary … Santorini is a mesmerisingly beautiful and intriguing place. Well worthy of two days not just one!
